A brand new close-to-$2 million medical centre in Waimate is now open to the public.
The new single-storey building at 84 Queen St is home to a medical centre, pharmacy and ambulance bay, all internally linked. The centre opened on Thursday and Waimate Medical Centre owner-operator Dr Sarah Creegan said the staff were "absolutely fizzing" with anticipation.
